* Will Bank Jobs have Interviews?
We know this question will be in the minds of bank job aspirants as many individuals who appear for SSC exams are also sitting for bank exams. The prime minister has clearly said that the interviews are to be scrapped for central govt jobs that are categorized as
group B, C & D.There was no mention about bank jobs in his speech. Moreover, candidates who wish to work in a banking organizations must deal with customers on a daily basis. So interviews are the only way to test a person's personality & get to know whether he/she can handle stress, knows about the banking sector, terms used etc.,
Above all, public sector banks have a separate recruitment process which is taken care by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection
(IBPS).They already have only simplified hiring procedure involving a written test & common interviews.
It means bank job interviews will continue as usual (until IBPS decides to abolish it).
